Pianist Steven Herbert Smith is known and acclaimed for performances around the world, from New York and London to Hong Kong, Beijing, and Australia as well as Penn State University, where he is professor emeritus of piano. In the American Record Guide (January 2016), Alan Becker praised Piano Masterworks of Beethoven as a set worthy to be enjoyed alongside those of Ashkenazy, Brendel, Goode and Kempff.
